Nick Clegg has announced the government will give an extra £250 million to the British Business Bank. The money will go to support small businesses, many of whom have found it hard to access loans during the recession. The announcement was celebrated at Southampton Central Library during Small business Saturday, an event where entrepreneurs came to network and learn about sources of advice and funding. I went down to find out more.
